You can find an on the Federal Trade Commission’s website – you may send a dispute letter to both the credit reporting company and the creditor or other entity that provided the information.
To help clarify the dispute, if available, enclose the portion of your credit report that contains the disputed item, and circle or highlight the disputed item. Include copies (not originals) of documents that support your position.
