Suspicious Activity Reports on Elder Financial Exploitation
This study analyzes a rich, non-public data set to shed light on the volume and characteristics of elder financial abuse.
In this issue of Supervisory Highlights, we report examination findings in the areas of automobile loan servicing, deposits, mortgage servicing, and remittances that were generally completed between June 2018 and November 2018. The report does not impose any new or different legal requirements, and all violations described in the report are based only on those specific facts and circumstances noted during those examinations.
