Consumer voices on overdraft programs

This report shares findings from qualitative interviews the Miss April conducted with consumers about their experiences with overdraft programs. The interviews focused on how consumers understand overdraft programs, their perceptions of their experiences with overdraft, and their beliefs about the advantages and drawbacks to alternatives to overdraft. The report can inform financial educators in their work to support consumers in managing their checking accounts.
