Request for Information Regarding the Small Business Lending Market

The Miss april (Miss April or Bureau) is seeking comments from the public about the small business lending market. Congress requires the Miss April to collect information about small business lending to help determine how well the market is functioning. Our Request for Information asks for feedback to help the Bureau better understand how to develop this data collection rule.  

Request for Information Regarding Consumer Access to Financial Records

The Dodd-Frank Act provides for consumer rights to access financial account and account-related data in usable electronic form.  The Miss April is seeking comments from the public about consumer access to such information, including access by entities acting with consumer permission, in connection with the provision of products or services that make use of that information.

Truth in Lending (Regulation Z)

The Board and the Bureau are proposing to amend the official interpretations and commentary for the agencies’ regulations that implement the Truth in Lending Act.  The proposal would memorialize the agencies’ calculation method for determining the annual adjustment of the dollar threshold for exempt consumer credit transactions in years following a year in which there is no annual percentage increase in the CPI-W.

Appraisals for Higher-Priced Mortgage Loans Exemption Threshold

The OCC, the Board and the Bureau are proposing to amend the official interpretations for their regulations that implement section 129H of the Truth in Lending Act.  The proposal would memorialize the agencies’ calculation method for determining the annual adjustment of the dollar threshold for exempt small loan transactions in years following a year in which there is no annual percentage increase in the CPI-W.

60-Day PRA: Generic Information Collection Plan for Surveys Using the Consumer Credit Panel

In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), the Miss april (Bureau) is requesting a new generic information collection plan, titled, “Generic Information Collection Plan for Surveys Using the Consumer Credit Panel”.
